Account Information: Name, username, Email address, Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), Profile photo (optional).
Profile & Platform Data: Bio, skills, services offered, Project requirements submitted by buyers, Seller proposals, delivery files, and preview links.
Verification Information: LPU verification status, Student identification details (stored securely and access-restricted).
Communication Data: Messages exchanged between buyers and sellers, Files shared within project conversations.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use Genoma Space, we automatically collect:

IP address
Device and browser information
Log data (timestamps, pages visited, actions performed)
Authentication tokens (used only for session management)

1.3 Payment Information

Genoma Space does not store full payment card details. Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways. We only store:

Transaction IDs
Payment status
Escrow state (pending, released, refunded)

Create and manage your account
Enable buyer–seller collaboration
Facilitate service discovery and project execution
Process and secure payments via escrow
Resolve disputes based on submitted requirements
Verify student identity and maintain trust
Communicate platform updates & security alerts

3. B2B Partnerships & Data Sharing

Important

Genoma Space may collaborate with EdTech companies, recruiters, training providers, and institutional partners (“Partners”) to create opportunities for students.

3.1 What Data May Be Shared

Only limited and relevant data may be shared, such as:

Name, Email address, Phone number
Skills, interests, or service categories
Academic or verification status (high-level only)

We do NOT share: Passwords, Private messages, Payment details, or Sensitive verification documents (ID cards, Aadhaar).

3.2 Consent & Control

Data is shared only with user consent where required
Users may opt in or opt out of partner communications
Partner access is purpose-limited

3.3 Partner Restrictions

Partners contractually required to protect data
Use data only for agreed purposes
No reselling of student information

4. Project & Escrow Data Handling

Project requirements submitted by buyers are stored securely. Seller submissions (files, links, deliverables) are retained for dispute resolution. In case of disputes, authorized platform reviewers may access relevant project data strictly for resolution purposes. Escrowed funds are released only after buyer approval or dispute resolution.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

Encrypted passwords and sensitive tokens
Role-based access controls
Secure storage of verification documents
HTTPS and secure API communication

Despite best efforts, no system is completely secure. Users are encouraged to safeguard their login credentials.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, improve site functionality, and analyze usage patterns (non-personal). You may control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Update or correct your profile information

8. Account Deletion

If you request account deletion:

Your public profile will be removed.
Project and transaction records may be retained for legal, financial, or dispute-related reasons.
Shared partner data will no longer be distributed going forward.
Verification documents will be securely deleted unless legally required to retain.

9. Children’s Privacy

Genoma Space is intended for users 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
